Rachel E. Clark
Rachel E. Clark serves as the Chief of Visitor Services for the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia. She joined the staff as an Education Specialist before the museum opened to the public and played a key role in helping to develop and enhance programming. Since taking on the role of Chief of Visitor Services in 2017, Clark has instituted a number of new initiatives designed to enrich the experience for the general public, active duty military personnel, military families, and veterans. She established the Hospitality Ambassadors program to welcome and help visitors plan their visit.
Clark received a BA in Psychology from Pennsylvania State University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Museum Studies from The Johns Hopkins University which focuses course work on attracting more diverse audiences and capitalizing on innovations in information and communication technologies to teach in museums. Her studies focuses on challenging museums to transform the museum experience in order to keep up with the intellectual curiosity of today’s learners.
Clark is an Elizabeth Dole Fellow, representing the state of Virginia. She has a passion for helping our veterans and their caregivers. From 2007-2010, Clark served as a board member for the Quantico DoDEA School Board.
