Dan Duster
Dan Duster is a motivational speaker and success coach. He is known as Dan Duster the Barrier Buster, helping people Obliterate Obstacles on their Path to Prosperity. He impacts audiences across the nation through his speeches and workshops. Dan shows people how to set goals, overcome challenges, have accountability for their actions and achieve amazing results.
As the great grandson of Ida B. Wells, he talks about her struggles and triumphs in the late 1800s to motivate audiences to address the challenges we face today. Dan is well known for his speech, “Make Your Legacy Matter,” which is a must for any organization! He shares engaging examples with a powerful voice, inspiring people to be purposeful about making a positive impact in their organizations and communities. As a result, corporations have experienced a more just and comfortable environment for all employees.
Born and raised on the South side of Chicago, Dan has always been a leader. He has served on the boards of several non-profits to help guide their vision and implement their mission. He has also served as a consultant with dozens of organizations to improve their effectiveness by leading workshops on topics that include strategic planning, leadership development, persuasive public speaking, and effective communication skills.
Dan has appeared at the White House in 2022 for the signing of the Emmett Till Anti-Lynching Bill, spoken at the U.S. Senate Press Conference, and has worked with the National Governor’s Association, the Congressional Tri-Caucus and numerous other organizations.
