Katlynn Cross
Katlynn Cross, M.A.T, M.A.R, conducts research and content development for K-12 educational spaces. She works to ensure that the education resources of the Museum uphold the Museum’s mission of focusing on historically marginalized voices and maintains an alignment with the C3 Framework for Social Studies State Standards. Katlynn has served as a social studies educator for six years in urban, suburban, and rural school districts in both private, public, or charter schools. Additionally, Katlynn is pursuing a Ph.D. in curriculum and instruction at Mercer University’s Tift College of Education. She has also obtained a Masters of Arts in teaching as well as a Masters of Arts in religion at Trevecca Nazarene University. Katlynn has also served as a fellow in the Georgia Department of Education’s Teacher Policy Fellowship and is a two-time recipient of the Mercer University LeAnn Wimpey Husley Graduate Honor Fellowship.
