Martha Wright was six months pregnant with her seventh child when she worked in 1848 to plan the world's Women's Rights Convention, which is commemorated at the Women's Rights National Historical Park in Seneca Falls by her life-size statue, which shows her pregnant. In October 2007, she was into the National Women's Hall of Fame, represented at the ceremonies by her great-great-grandson, James Duane Livingston. |
